About The Site

This site is my happy place, an opportunity for me to experiment with html in ways the modern web hates to let flourish. It's always changing as I learn about new tags, methods, and find new things to implement! I've tried to keep an early 2000s web feel, as those are always the sites I feel most drawn to.

I typically refer to this site as "Clover's Petz Zone" or "CloverCat12's Petz Zone", favoring the full username version. You can use either name interchangeably! I almost always call myself Clover @ CloverCat12's Petz Zone or just CloverCat12 in petzy contexts, but that is quite the mouthful, so feel free to shorten it to Clover @ CC12 if you need to save line space. If you do shorten it to CC12, I ask that you include one of the longer names or a link as well somewhere nearby, since the site won't come up on google for CC12. I will be referring to the site as CC12 for the rest of this page so it doesn't get too long though.

CC12 opened its doors on July 17th, 2025, though it wasn't properly fleshed out for a few more days. The layout remained relatively simple until the site was moved to frames in August, as editing every single page's entire code was quite cumbersome. It was very basic looking for that first full month, with solid color elements that lacked any depth until late August. As I'm typing this, the current simple background image is still a placeholder!
